Step out of the city life by going to Canal Grande and Isola di Burano. Doges' Palace and Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica del Santo are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Venice, make a side trip to see Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, approximately 42 minutes away. There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Mark's Square, take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
