Known as the "Stampede City" thanks to its world-famous annual rodeo, Calgary remains a tale of two cities.
Calgary is known for zoos & aquariums, historic sites, fun & games, events, and parks. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: tour the pleasant surroundings at The Calgary Zoo, stop by Crossroads Market, take a stroll through Stephen Avenue Walk, and enjoy some diversion at Spruce Meadows.

Fly from Winnipeg to Calgary in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Winnipeg in February, expect Calgary to be somewhat warmer, temps between -1°C and -13°C. On the 3rd (Sat), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. On the 4th (Sun), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at Sunshine Village. The adventure continues: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Louise, take some stellar pictures from Fairview Lookout, stop by Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe Ltd, and explore the stunning scenery at Johnston Canyon.

You can drive from Calgary to Banff National Park in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a shuttle. Expect a daytime high around 1°C in March, and nighttime lows around -9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) so you can take a bus to Jasper National Park.

The largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, sprawling Jasper National Park encompasses more than 10,000 sq km (4,200 sq mi) of largely unspoiled mountain wilderness.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): take in the dramatic scenery at Athabasca Falls, stop by Candy Bear Lair, and then hit the slopes at Marmot Basin Ski Area. Keep things going the next day: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Whistlers Mountain, learn more about the world around you at Jasper-Yellowhead Museum & Archives, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Maligne Canyon.

You can take a bus from Banff National Park to Jasper National Park in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In March, plan for daily highs up to 5°C, and evening lows to -9°C. You will have some time to spend on the 10th (Sat) before leaving for Regina.

Named after Queen Victoria, cultured Regina serves as a provincial capital and boasts many manicured parks, which make it a pleasant place to visit throughout the year.
On the 11th (Sun), tour the pleasant surroundings at Wascana Centre Park, contemplate the long history of Legislative Building, and then steep yourself in history at Tunnels Of Moose Jaw. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: steep yourself in history at Government House, stop by Audio Warehouse, and then admire the natural beauty at Regina Floral Conservatory.
